As a Software Engineer at Nearform, you will work with a team of talented engineers using a modern JavaScript stack to develop new applications, features, and tools for various clients.
You will collaborate closely with client teams, providing project leadership, technical expertise, and mentorship.

Requirements:
2 - 5 years of software development experience.
2+ years of professional experience with React.
Proficiency in working with a JavaScript stack and build processes.
Deep understanding of web engineering concepts like client/server architecture, REST, and modern best practices.
Excellent communication skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
Patience and willingness to learn from and mentor others.
Passion for client-facing roles, focusing on code health and developer experience while meeting client goals and timelines.
Experience with:
Core JavaScript concepts and modern techniques.
Strong understanding of React framework and ecosystem.
Semantic HTML and CSS.
Front-end build tooling like Webpack/Parcel, Babel, NPM/Yarn.
Git in a collaborative team environment.
Front-end testing libraries and methods such as Jest/Enzyme/react-testing-library.
Web accessibility and a11y best practices.
GraphQL.
Extra credit for:
Contributions to open-source projects.
Familiarity with Node.js frameworks like Express.
Experience with persistence layers like MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
Familiarity with TypeScript.
Experience with Next.JS.
Experience with headless CMSs.
