Description:
HeartFlow, Inc. is a medical technology company focused on advancing the diagnosis and management of coronary artery disease using cutting-edge technology.
The flagship product is the HeartFlow FFRCT Analysis, an AI-driven, non-invasive cardiac test that provides a 3D model of a patient’s coronary arteries.
This position involves building and delivering a distributed system to efficiently process medical images on the cloud and reliably deliver processing results.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining HeartFlow’s services in the interoperability domain, as well as continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
The interoperability services will interact with other services in HeartFlow’s cloud environment and with hospital systems on-premise.
The role requires owning and driving the development of multiple components according to software development best practices and FDA standards.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required.
A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in a major software company, including at least 3 years in software development, is necessary.
Experience in Python, API design, RESTful APIs, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and RDBMS is essential.
Knowledge of software development best practices, agile methodologies, and testing methods such as unit, functional, and black box testing is required.
Familiarity with CI/CD processes is necessary.
Nice to have skills include knowledge of DICOM and/or HL7 standards, enterprise imaging software development, microservices architecture, event-driven architecture, and debugging distributed cloud services.
Experience with NoSQL databases, applying data structures and algorithms, web services, Linux systems, and Docker is also beneficial.
Benefits:
The pay range for this role is between $108,000 to $164,700 for locations outside the San Francisco Bay Area and $119,000 to $181,475 for the San Francisco Bay Area, including cash bonuses and stock options.
