Description:
- The Software Engineer will report to the Software Development Director and must have at least 3 years of experience working with enterprise applications and data platforms in the cloud.
- Responsibilities include designing a cloud-based data platform and services, building the DevOps strategy for managing microservices and connectors in AWS cloud, working with Java and distributed computing platforms, participating in Agile development projects, collaborating with partners on design solutions, and implementing enterprise software design for data services and middleware.
- Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, hands-on coding skills with Java and Python, experience with Containerized Micro-services, RDBMS (Aurora MySQL) and No-SQL (Dynamo DB, Cassandra), AWS Cloud experience, and knowledge of Hadoop/Spark and various data formats like Parquet and CSV.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
- 3+ years of experience working with enterprise applications and data platforms in the cloud
- Proficiency in Java and Python coding
- Experience with Containerized Micro-services, RDBMS (Aurora MySQL) and No-SQL (Dynamo DB, Cassandra)
- Familiarity with AWS Cloud services like S3, EFS, MSK, ECS, EMR
- Knowledge of Hadoop/Spark and various data formats like Parquet and CSV
