Description:

• Rutter is seeking a talented Backend (Fullstack) Engineer from Brazil to join the Integrations Engineering team.
• The role involves designing, building, and maintaining integrations with key business platforms such as Shopify, QuickBooks Online, and Meta.
• Responsibilities include developing robust systems for alerting, testing, and tooling to streamline maintenance of external dependencies.
• The position requires continuous improvement of core systems to enhance Rutter's universal API.
• Collaboration with US-based and Brazil-based teams in Eastern Standard Time and Brasilia Standard Time is essential for driving impactful solutions.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software engineering.
• Business fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) with strong communication skills.
• Passion for creating developer-centric solutions and enhancing the developer experience.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, React, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience in building and maintaining integrations with third-party platforms and managing external dependencies is a plus.
• Familiarity with scaling API products.
• Ability to work effectively with remote teams across different time zones.
