Software engineering teams have the autonomy to drive technical decisions for their products, facing challenges in scale, security, usability, resilience, redundancy, and cloud multi-region.
The role is open to software engineers from various specialisms, including front-end, back-end, test automation, ops, and infrastructure.
Engineers will have the opportunity to work across multiple teams and products, building a wide skillset.
Responsibilities include contributing to the entire development life cycle, participating in system architecture discussions, implementing and improving features, maintaining existing APIs, and debugging infrastructure problems.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience with one of the following: Golang, Java, C or a C-style language, or Node.js.
Front-end engineers should have experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, and CSS pre-processors.
A solid understanding of Object Oriented design is required.
Familiarity with Microservice Architecture is necessary.
Familiarity with Linux system command line is preferred.
Candidates should have experience building scalable, high availability applications.
Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the UK on an ongoing basis.
A BSc. or MSc. in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent industry experience is required.
