Jobgether is seeking a Software Engineer to work remotely from France and the UK for one of their clients.
The role involves developing and maintaining a robust research platform that supports data scientists and researchers in advancing scientific discoveries.
Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based infrastructure and services on AWS, with a focus on SageMaker and other machine learning tools.
The Software Engineer will collaborate closely with researchers and data scientists to ensure the platform meets the evolving needs of AI/ML research, federated learning, and large-scale data processing.
The position offers the chance to work at the intersection of cloud computing, machine learning infrastructure, and software engineering, contributing to advancements in the healthcare sector.
Key accountabilities include supporting and improving CI/CD pipelines, development workflows, and security practices, as well as participating in incident response and platform support to ensure high availability and reliability.

Requirements:

Candidates must have significant experience as a software or cloud engineer, with a strong background in designing and maintaining cloud-based infrastructures.
Full professional proficiency in English is required; proficiency in French is advantageous.
A demonstrated attention to quality and software engineering processes, with a commitment to reliability, is essential.
Experience with Python or Golang is required, with proficiency in these languages being highly valued.
Candidates must be proficient with Terraform and AWS services, with experience managing infrastructure as code.
Familiarity with Kubernetes and OCI is necessary, including experience with services and payloads running on Kubernetes across multiple clusters.
Experience with MLOps practices and platform engineering is preferred.
