Jobgether is seeking a Software Engineer to join a remote-first team in India.
The role involves designing and developing core backend components for features like auditing, connectivity, and search.
The engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across engineering and product to deliver impactful solutions.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing high-quality backend services and greenfield projects in Java and Spring.
The engineer will enhance core infrastructure components such as storage, auditing, and client connectivity services.
The position requires ensuring reliability, fault-tolerance, and scalability in all service designs.
The engineer will write well-tested, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.

Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development with a focus on backend engineering is required.
Proficiency in Java, Spring, JUnit, Tomcat, and relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL preferred) is necessary.
A solid understanding of distributed systems architecture, including fault-tolerance and asynchronicity, is essential.
Experience with messaging systems like Google PubSub, Redis PubSub, or Azure Event Hub is required.
Exposure to key-value stores such as Redis is preferred.
Familiarity with Python and cloud platforms (Azure or GCP) is a plus.
A strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on building business-impacting solutions is needed.
Candidates should be comfortable in agile environments and collaborating with remote teams across time zones.
