Description:

• A Software Engineer at Mindex is responsible for fulfilling the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of new and existing software applications, features, and functionality aligned to customer requirements.
• The Software Engineer works alongside other engineers on the team in an agile environment to devise innovative solutions, elevate technology, and consistently apply best practices.
• Essential functions include assisting in determining customer requirements using problem analysis and critical thinking skills, defining and developing clear problem statements in collaboration with Sr. Software Engineers/Principal Engineer.
• The role involves designing and developing technical software solutions including software architecture, examining systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
• The Software Engineer writes and performs testing that aligns with a methodology and assists in determining the scope for testing requirements agreed upon by the team or business unit.
• Documentation of each aspect of an application is required as a reference for future upgrades and maintenance.
• The position includes identifying bugs and assisting senior team members in the development process to fix bugs and address customer concerns.
• A curiosity to learn and advance relevant technical knowledge is essential.

Requirements:

• An AS or BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related area is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies is required.
• Familiarity with all aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) is necessary.
• Experience with cloud computing concepts and working with AWS or Microsoft Azure cloud platforms is expected.
• Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, and Azure DevOps is required.
• Knowledge of JavaScript and React is nice but not needed.
• Experience with SQLServer, MySQL, and PGSQL is necessary.
• Strong analysis, critical-thinking capabilities, and problem-solving skills are essential.
• A strong focus on exceptional customer service is required.

• Highly organized and accurate individuals are preferred.
