A company is seeking a Software Engineer – ITDR (Ruby/Rails) in the United States.
This role involves joining a cybersecurity product team focused on identity-based threat detection.
The Software Engineer will design, build, and optimize tools to analyze login behavior and detect suspicious activity.
Collaboration with engineers, security experts, and product teams is essential to create scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities include designing and maintaining full-stack features, building data pipelines, collaborating with security researchers, developing internal tools, conducting code reviews, troubleshooting technical problems, and improving team workflows.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 4+ years of experience in software engineering and building complex products.
A minimum of 2 years of experience working with Ruby on Rails in a production environment is required.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug across a distributed system are essential.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience is necessary.
Experience with RESTful APIs and understanding authentication/authorization flows is required.
Familiarity with identity providers like Microsoft 365, Okta, or Google Workspace is preferred.
Experience with tools such as Redis, ElasticSearch, or MongoDB is also preferred.
A background or interest in cybersecurity is considered a plus.
