Description:
- Magnet Forensics is seeking a talented engineer to join the Magnet Review Team in building the next generation of digital forensics products to enhance collaboration among various stakeholders in the agency organization.
- The Engineering Organization focuses on producing software that addresses critical issues in digital forensics and incident response, with a strong emphasis on developing algorithms to make sense of hidden, corrupted, or incomplete data.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing requirements, estimating effort, designing robust solutions, developing efficient software, participating in code reviews, troubleshooting defects, and guiding best practices for multiple source code projects.
- The role involves understanding product intent to make design and architecture decisions, as well as collaborating with a team of smart, passionate individuals dedicated to solving industry challenges through continuous learning and collaboration.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience with C# and/or JavaScript.
- 2+ years of experience with ReactJS or a similar frontend framework.
- Proficiency in HTML/CSS.
- Proficiency in API architectures like REST or GraphQL.
- Proficiency in using Git-based version control systems.
- Proficiency in relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Proficiency in a testing framework (e.g., XUnit, Jest, PyTest).
- Experience with build tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience working with Kubernetes.
