Remote Software Engineer (Rust) - Partner Chains

• IOHK is a technology company focused on Blockchain research and development, emphasizing peer-reviewed research and formal methods.
• The Partner Chains Tribe project aims to simplify blockchain deployment, operation, and interoperability using Substrate technology.
• As a Software Engineer in the Partner Chains tribe, you will write high-quality code for products, work with cutting-edge research, and collaborate with various team members.
• Responsibilities include following agile software development practices, working independently on tasks, contributing to algorithm design, writing clean code, reviewing specifications, and integrating software components.
• You must be knowledgeable about distributed and concurrent computation and have a basic understanding of cryptography.

Requirements:

• A degree in Computer Science is desirable but not essential.
• Minimum 3 years of Rust development experience, with expertise in the Substrate framework.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Blockchain experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Git and Git workflow, Agile software development methods, and functional and object-oriented programming paradigms.
• Domain knowledge of low-level network communications protocol and distributed systems.
