Description:

As a Software Engineer on LaunchDarkly’s SDK team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the primary touchpoint that customers interact with daily.
You will work with various technologies across over 20 SDKs to enable customers to feature flag their code effectively.
The SDKs are feature-rich agents focusing on performance, concurrency, and resiliency while following idiomatic practices for their tech stack.
The SDK team plays a crucial role in the company's success by impacting both LaunchDarkly and its customers.
Responsibilities include contributing to SDK development for JavaScript and other supported platforms, collaborating with engineering and product teams, maintaining open-source repositories, advocating for best practices, and shaping technology and product decisions.

Requirements:

Experience building JavaScript SDKs.
Full stack JavaScript experience.
Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and at least one other language.
Strong computer science fundamentals.
Experience in building and maintaining client applications or libraries.
Ability to work in a communicative and collaborative environment.
Self-starter and problem solver with the capability to work independently.
Strong testing background including unit, integration, load tests, and benchmarks.
Experience in writing production-ready code with a focus on quality and maintainability.
Experience contributing to open-source software.
