Luxor is building Luxor Cloud, a next-generation cloud infrastructure platform designed to provide scalable services to customers.
The company is seeking a talented Software Developer to work closely with the Data Center Engineer and KVM Engineer.
The role involves designing, optimizing, or building a custom Software-Defined Networking (SDN) solution tailored to Luxor's infrastructure needs.
This position offers a unique opportunity to tackle complex networking challenges, including integrating existing SDN solutions and architecting new systems that will serve as the backbone of Luxor Cloud’s networking stack.
Candidates must be based in the United States, Canada, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, China, India, or the Philippines.

Requirements:

Candidates must have strong proficiency in C, C++, or Rust for developing high-performance, low-latency networking applications.
A deep understanding of networking protocols such as VLAN, VXLAN, BGP, EVPN, MPLS, and IPsec is required.
Knowledge of control plane and data plane separation in SDN architectures is essential.
Hands-on experience with SDN technologies like Open vSwitch (OVS), Snabb, ZeroTier, and SONiC is necessary.
Candidates should possess solid knowledge of the Linux networking stack, including iptables, nftables, netfilter, and kernel-level networking modules.
Familiarity with network performance tuning and high-speed packet processing techniques is required.
A strong background in network security protocols and best practices is essential.
Proficiency in the English language is mandatory.
