Remote Software Engineer - Senior Drupal Developer (Front End)

Description:

• The Senior Drupal Developer will work collaboratively with Bixal team members and stakeholders to design and redesign websites.
• Responsibilities include implementing, testing, and maintaining responsive websites using web development tools.
• Collaborate with project teams and client stakeholders to understand and document their needs.
• Write clean, well-engineered code that conforms to accepted Drupal standards.
• Ensure websites meet Federal regulatory guidance, including 508 and WCAG.
• Provide technical leadership on projects and demonstrate thought leadership for internal teams and the community.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in web design and development, including mobile and responsive design.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript for content management systems and frameworks.
• Experience with Agile Software Development Methodology.
• Strong proficiency in developing content in Drupal core modules, contributed modules, custom modules, views, panels, blocks, templates, etc.
• Knowledge of GIT version control, component-based design, and BEM.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and independently.
• Working knowledge of current web development tools and technologies.
