Description:

  • The Software Engineer will work closely with business stakeholders, system administrators, and other software engineers to design and implement custom solutions that streamline loan origination, deposit account opening, treasury management onboarding, and other financial services workflows.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience with Salesforce development, a solid understanding of nCino’s banking platform, and a passion for building innovative solutions in the financial services industry.
  • Responsibilities include designing, developing, and implementing custom functionalities applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components, as well as integrating Salesforce and nCino with external systems and third-party applications using REST APIs, SOAP, and middleware tools.
  • The role involves monitoring integrations, handling integration errors, creating automated workflows, maintaining technical documentation, developing custom user interfaces, writing and executing unit tests, and developing custom reports and dashboards.
  • The Software Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions while ensuring compliance with necessary security standards and financial industry requirements.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
  • Candidates must have 4 or more years of experience in software engineering and at least 2 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce application development.
  • Advanced SQL database and operating systems experience, including SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS, is necessary.
  • Proficiency in programming languages, preferably C#, ASP.net, and Transact SQL, along with knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices is required.
  • Candidates should have experience with current platforms such as Windows SharePoint Services, Internet Information Server, and MS Office SharePoint.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of federal and state laws/regulations relative to the IT industry is preferred.

Benefits:

  • The targeted starting compensation range is based on location and experience, between $89,000 and $155,000.
  • Incentive and commission compensation may be awarded for eligible roles.
