As a Software Engineer, you will be part of the product team building the next-generation Learning Management System (LMS) and a new Learning Assistant.
You will engage with Product Managers and Designers to shape the best solutions and collaborate with other Engineers to bring these solutions to life.
Your role includes ensuring the product is secure, reliable, and performant by directly intervening in the codebase and mentoring other engineers.
You will contribute to the roadmap by identifying new opportunities based on advancements in technology and the EdTech market.
The tech stack includes TypeScript, Node.js, MongoDB, React, Next.js, Nest.js, PostgreSQL, and ElasticSearch, among others.
The hosting is cloud-based, and the observability stack includes Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Sentry, Langfuse, and Gentrace.
Requirements:
You should have recent experience as an Individual Contributor in a product-oriented company, preferably in B2B SaaS.
Familiarity with the tech stack is essential, particularly the JavaScript ecosystem, with the ability to write code during the tech interview.
A T-shaped profile is expected, with a full-stack mindset and a particular area of expertise.
You must demonstrate a sense of ownership and a holistic approach to problem-solving, making decisions based on data and stakeholder input.
Team spirit is crucial; you should align with the company's mission and culture while being operationally flexible.
You should be excited to work in a written-first and async-first environment, valuing radical transparency.
Stellar written communication skills are required, along with the ability to welcome feedback and express your views clearly.
A positive attitude and a willingness to help others are important, as well as maintaining good relationships within the team.
Passion for technology and its application in education and training, along with awareness of the GenAI field, is necessary.
