The Setup & Manage team enables customers to set up and maintain CaptivateIQ efficiently, focusing on improving foundational elements of the platform.
Responsibilities include designing, building, optimizing, and maintaining CaptivateIQ's data and core platform functionality.
The role requires participation in the product development process from scoping projects to measuring success and iterating based on feedback.
Maintaining high engineering and security standards and continuously improving codebases and processes is essential.
Collaboration with engineers across the company to develop and iterate at scale is expected.

Requirements:

A minimum of 4 years of experience in a software engineering role is required.
Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms, are necessary.
Experience with both frontend and backend development is essential.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
Proficiency with Python, Django, and React is necessary.
Experience with a relational database such as PostgreSQL or MySQL is required.
A demonstrated track record of taking responsibility and ownership over core product areas is essential.
Experience delivering results while working cross-functionally with Product and Design is required.
A sharp attention to detail and a user-centric focus are necessary.
Experience making data-driven decisions on product and process is required.
Experience building or maintaining a positive, productive remote-first culture is essential.
