Description:

• The Software Engineer position is with the Cash Shopping team, focusing on developing core e-commerce shopping functionality for Cash App.
• The role involves designing, building, and owning highly available services and infrastructure to enable a seamless commerce experience on Cash App.
• Responsibilities include exploring new technologies, contributing to backend services written in Kotlin, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance user experiences.

Requirements:

• A BS/MS/PhD in computer science or a related field is required.
• Candidates should have 3-8+ years of software development experience.
• Experience in architecting large-scale distributed systems is necessary.

• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work with senior and junior engineers are essential.
• Enthusiasm for solving business problems with technology and the ability to deliver with globally distributed teams are key requirements.
