Description:

The Software Engineer position is with the Cash Shopping team, focusing on building core e-commerce shopping functionality for Cash App.
The role involves designing, building, and owning highly available services and infrastructure that enable the commerce experience on Cash App.
Responsibilities include exploring the latest technologies, contributing to backend services written in Kotlin, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance user experiences.
The position offers the opportunity to work on projects crucial to the team's success and the company's growth.

A BS/MS/PhD in computer science or a related field is required.
Candidates should have 3-8+ years of software development or equivalent experience.
Experience in architecting large-scale distributed systems is necessary.
The ideal candidate should possess curiosity, persistence, and a desire to get things done.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work with senior and junior engineers are essential.
Enthusiasm for solving business problems with technology and the ability to deliver with globally distributed cross-functional teams are key requirements.
