VGS is seeking two skilled Software Engineers to join the Payments Acceptance team: a Software Engineer and a Senior Software Engineer.
These roles involve managing the lifecycle of payment cards by developing and maintaining the Card Management Platform (CMP).
Responsibilities include engaging in all phases of the software lifecycle, maintaining code quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
The ideal candidates should possess traits such as attention to detail, problem-solving skills, customer orientation, versatility, resilience, and confidence.

Requirements:

For the Software Engineer position, candidates must have 3+ years of hands-on software development experience, preferably in a SaaS company.
Candidates should have hands-on experience in software architecture, design, and development in a Cloud SaaS environment, preferably with AWS/K8s experience.
A solid understanding of cloud-native architecture, microservices, CI/CD (CircleCI, GitHub Actions, Argo), GitOps, APIs, Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), Kafka (MSK), Java, Spring Framework, Python, and AWS services is required.
Strong experience in observability solutions using Grafana and Open Telemetry is necessary.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
For the Senior Software Engineer position, candidates must have 8+ years of hands-on software development experience, with similar requirements as the Software Engineer role.
