Candidates must have 8+ years of experience in building and managing large-scale, highly available, distributed web applications.
A working understanding of high-level programming languages such as Go, Python, JavaScript, or Bash is necessary.
Strong AWS experience in managing infrastructure securely and automatically is required.
A solid background in Linux/Unix, networking, HTTP/2, DNS, and REST is essential.
Experience with managing large databases and search systems like Elasticsearch is needed.
Candidates should have experience with infrastructure as code and managing Terraform configurations.
Familiarity with observability tools such as ELK, Prometheus, or distributed tracing is required.
Nice to have: GitHub activity showing relevant contributions, knowledge of multiple programming languages, experience developing internal tools, and creating SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs.
