Description:
Panoptyc is seeking a Software Engineer - Support to join their rapidly growing engineering team.
The role involves maintaining, designing, and building new and existing features using Angular, C#, and .NET.
Responsibilities include deploying code/updates manually, helping to set up the CI/CD pipeline, triaging and fixing issues, and working directly under the Head of Engineering.
The position requires participation in code reviews and one-on-one sessions with the Head of Engineering.
Collaboration across teams at Panoptyc is essential to understand project goals and objectives.
Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 2-3 years of experience working as a Support Engineer.
The ideal candidate should be willing to work from 9 AM to 6 PM Eastern Standard Time.
Extensive software engineering experience for web-based applications in a fast-paced environment is required.
Hands-on experience developing and utilizing RESTful APIs is necessary.
Preferred qualifications include hands-on experience with Angular, Typescript, C#, and .NET technologies.
An understanding of multiple modern programming languages is preferred.
A strong understanding of various programming concepts and their application in building complex systems is essential.
Candidates should value well-documented code, as half of the job will involve writing tests and documentation.
Excellent command of the English language (written and spoken) is required.
Attention to detail and the ability to embrace ambiguity are important traits.
Candidates should possess a low ego, be honest, and willing to ask questions when uncertain.

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours of work per week.

The pay rate ranges from $25 to $30 per hour.
