Description:

The Software Engineer - Support position is a full-time role based in Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Peru, or remote.
The company, Panoptyc, utilizes AI and manual review to detect theft at 5,000 markets in the US and aims to expand to 20,000 locations in the next 18 months.
Responsibilities include maintaining, designing, and building new and existing features using Angular, C#, and .NET.
The role involves deploying code/updates manually and assisting in setting up the CI/CD pipeline.
The engineer will be responsible for triaging and fixing issues and will work directly under the Head of Engineering to create solutions and solve problems.
Participation in code reviews and one-on-one sessions with the Head of Engineering is expected.
Collaboration across teams at Panoptyc is essential to understand project goals and objectives.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 2-3 years of experience working as a Support Engineer.
The position requires availability to work from 9 AM to 6 PM Eastern Standard Time.
Extensive software engineering experience for web-based applications in a fast-paced environment is necessary.
Hands-on experience developing and utilizing RESTful APIs is required.
Preferred candidates will have hands-on experience with Angular, Typescript, C#, and .NET technologies.
An understanding of multiple modern programming languages is preferred.
A strong understanding of various programming concepts and their application in building complex systems is essential.
Candidates should value well-documented code, as half of the job will involve writing tests and documentation.
Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken, is required.
Attention to detail is crucial, as is the ability to embrace ambiguity and seek help when needed.
