Description:
JumpCloud is seeking a Software Engineer to join an existing product development team, focusing on backend services.
The role involves participating in feature implementation and delivering high-quality software.
Collaboration with product managers, architects, and UX is essential to deliver incremental value to customers.
The engineer will partner with Architects and CloudOps to make key technology decisions ensuring designs are highly available, scalable, and performant.

Requirements:
Candidates must have 3+ years of commercial software development experience in various languages, with a focus on backend services, particularly in Golang and Node.js.
Experience in developing SaaS applications on public cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is required.
A solid understanding of designing and implementing RESTful APIs is necessary, with bonus points for experience with gRPC protocol.
Hands-on experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture is expected, with additional points for experience with containers.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for building, testing, and deploying to environments is required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
