Remote Software Engineer (TypeScript) - Smart Contracts

Description:

• IO Global is looking for a Senior Software Engineer proficient in TypeScript to join their smart contract team working on Cardano's Plutus platform.
• The engineer will collaborate with a team to design and implement missing features in smart contract languages, compilers, and runtime systems.
• Responsibilities include crafting documentation for user assistance and mentoring junior colleagues.
• The role involves elevating Cardano's smart contract platform to meet user requirements and technical constraints.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in TypeScript and back-end applications/systems design.
• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to independently execute software development tasks and drive the technical roadmap.
• Experience in writing documentation for code and technical user manuals.
• Background in TypeScript, back-end applications/systems design, and javascript runtimes.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Knowledge of computer science fundamentals and experience in software development, data structures, and algorithms.
• Exposure to Haskell or another functional programming language is a plus.
• Experience in a technical leadership role and working with blockchain platforms is beneficial.
