Description:

Algolia is seeking a Software Engineer to join the AI Search Group, which focuses on enhancing core search capabilities.
The team is responsible for key features such as Query Suggestions, Dynamic Synonym Suggestions, AI Re-Ranking, and Query Categorization.
The role involves designing and developing ranking and understanding features, collaborating with a diverse team including front-end developers and machine learning specialists.
The engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and soundness of the pipelines.

Requirements:

Candidates should have experience designing and operating pipelines in production.
Experience working with large datasets and high traffic is required.
An interest in solving ranking challenges is essential.
Candidates must have experience in building and maintaining API services.
A commitment to high code quality, automated testing, and engineering best practices is necessary.
Familiarity with one of the major cloud providers (GCP, AWS, or Azure) is required.
Excellent spoken and written English skills are mandatory.
