Description:
The Product Software Engineer will work on the Workspaces team at Weights & Biases, a company focused on building developer tools for AI developers.
The team's main focus is on enabling better analysis of timeseries data generated by Machine Learning Engineers (MLEs).
The role involves working on the data pipeline that feeds data to the frontend, using technologies like BigTable and Parquet.
Responsibilities include leading new product initiatives, collaborating on technical challenges, improving developer productivity, and incorporating customer feedback to enhance the product.
The position requires a full stack engineer with a backend focus, experience in building and maintaining backend systems, knowledge of modern programming languages, familiarity with web technologies like React and Typescript, and a passion for the AI/ML space.
Requirements:
Must be a full stack engineer with a heavier backend focus and multiple years of experience in backend systems.
Should have 4+ years of software engineering experience and knowledge of at least one modern programming language (Java, Go, Python, C++, etc).
Need 2+ years of experience with modern web technologies such as React and Typescript.
Must have 1+ year of experience in building high-quality products end to end.
Should possess the ability to navigate ambiguity, understand user problems, and build features based on complex requirements.
Interest in the AI/ML space and a willingness to continue learning are essential.
