The position is for a Software Engineer specializing in Angular, available for remote work.
This is a full-time, mid-level role with a long-term contract lasting over 3 years.
The client is a technical solutions provider supporting a government contract that involves modernizing a suite of applications.
Candidates should possess full stack expertise, particularly in Node.JS, JavaScript, Angular (Typescript), and Java.
The role requires experience in full-stack application design, development, and lifecycle management.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a minimum of 8 years of overall experience, including programming web services in .NET, Python, and NodeJS.
Experience in creating, updating, and querying PostgreSQL databases is required.
Proficiency in developing user experiences using React, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript is necessary.
Applicants should implement best practices for testing, API communication structures (REST/JSON/ETC), and multi-system interactions.
Experience in migrating on-premises applications to containerized solutions in AWS (EKS) and updating applications to utilize AWS native tools (RDS, MSK, etc.) is essential.
Candidates should have experience working with Agile software development teams and using source control management tools (Git, Azure DevOps, BitBucket, etc.) and CI/CD pipelines.
The role requires providing technical solutions, conducting code/design peer reviews, adhering to coding standards, and engaging in agile practices, work estimation, requirement gathering, client interaction, collaboration, technical documentation, and user stories.
