Remote Software Engineer/Developer, Full Stack

Description:

• Aurora Solar is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer/Developer to join their remote-first team focused on sustainable energy.
• The role involves improving HelioScope, a cloud-based design and engineering platform for solar projects, particularly for utility-scale installations.
• Responsibilities include building new functionalities and features, integrating with other solar industry players, and assisting in the development of new products.
• The engineer will participate in technical design, pair programming, iterative development, and continuous integration.
• The position requires taking operational responsibility for team-owned services, including participation in an on-call rotation.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a passion for renewable energy and sustainability.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a software engineer is required.
• Experience with web development and frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, Python, React, Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript is necessary.
• Strong engineering skills and an understanding of engineering best practices are essential.
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills are required, along with the ability to excel in a remote work environment.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English is mandatory, and resumes should be submitted in English.
