Description:

• The Software Engineering Architect position at dLocal involves defining and integrating the company's software architecture.
• Responsibilities include upgrading or defining new architecture systems to support current and future Java applications.
• The role also entails software design and integration of all Java-based applications.
• Tasks include meeting with technology managers and the design team to discuss company goals, examining and defining current architecture systems, designing scalable architecture systems, identifying infrastructure needs, troubleshooting design flaws, and conducting system performance tests.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or computer science is required.
• Previous work experience as a software or Java architect is necessary.
• Advanced knowledge of software architecture is essential.
• Proficiency with Java, Java Beans, Java Servlets, and JavaScript is a must.
• Experience with software networks, software design, and web programming is needed.
• High-level project management skills are required.
• Ability to solve complex software system issues is a must.
• Good communication skills in Spanish and English are mandatory.
