Description:

First Help Financial is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineering Intern to collaborate with senior engineers and quality assurance in designing, developing, and delivering software products that impact the company's portfolio growth.
Responsibilities include gaining expertise on the Loan Originating platform, building and maintaining internal REST-based Middleware and webservices, developing interactive UI components for best-in-class user experience, creating an automated developer unit test process, and integrating with Machine Learning models to improve Auto Decisioning capabilities.

Requirements:

Pursuing a master’s degree in Computer Science or related field at the time of the internship.
Full Stack Development/Experience.
Exposure to web application development and SQL databases.
Experience with Java or Python, as well as JavaScript frameworks like React and Angular.
Exposure to OOD/OOP, data structures, and algorithm analysis.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new technologies and frameworks.
Experience in designing, developing, and testing large, scalable, complex systems.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Knowledge of REST APIs and microservices.
Experience in Fintech application development is a plus.

Compensation of $39.00/hr.
