Description:
The Software Engineering Team Lead is responsible for leading and mentoring a team of software engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business objectives.
This role requires a combination of technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and a strategic mindset.
The ideal candidate will effectively manage multiple projects, foster a collaborative work environment, and drive continuous improvement within the team.

The lead will own software development projects from inception to completion, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
Providing technical leadership and support to the team is essential, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
The lead will identify opportunities to enhance software development processes and implement improvements.
Collaboration with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders is necessary to ensure alignment and achieve project goals.

Identifying training needs, providing mentorship, and fostering career growth within the team are key responsibilities.
The lead will work closely with PMs to define the direction of the product and the priorities of deliverables, which can be formalized as OKRs.
Analyzing challenges and resolving technical problems is required.
Ensuring the development of well-designed and testable code is crucial.
The lead will break down tasks and distribute them across team members.
Supporting in providing code documentation and other inputs to technical documents is expected.
Analyzing product performance and redesigning as required is part of the job.
Reviewing team members' code and supporting the improvement of code quality is necessary.
Interacting and exchanging ideas with other leads and team members is encouraged.
Communicating the team’s progress and blockers to management is essential.
Staying up to date with new technologies and best practices is important.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
Strong technical skills and understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.) are necessary.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
The candidate must understand modern software architecture design.
A minimum of 5 years of experience building web applications using PHP is required.
At least 3 years of experience with the Laravel PHP framework is necessary.
Extensive experience with relational databases is required.
Familiarity with frontend platforms is preferred.
The ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing is essential.
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities are necessary.
The candidate should create a great team spirit and show a strong commitment to achieving results.
An interest in utilizing and learning new technologies is important.
Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal, is required.
The candidate must be able to adapt to a time zone difference and thrive in a remote working environment.
