As a Software Engineering Leader, you will lead a software development team responsible for high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications.
You will manage a talented team working on mission-critical applications for big customers like Netflix, Amazon, Nike, and Facebook.
Your responsibilities include week-to-week planning, team accountability, driving technical direction, and ensuring project scalability and robustness.
You will be hands-on with projects, engaging deeply with code and project architecture.
You will also be responsible for hiring team members and facilitating communication and planning between teams.

Requirements:

You must have proven experience leading remote development teams.
A strong hands-on software development background is required.
Expertise in Java or Go, along with JavaScript and TypeScript for frontend development, is essential.
Extensive experience in building scalable applications is necessary.
Proficiency with monitoring tools such as NewRelic, Datadog, Grafana/Prometheus, and distributed logs (e.g., ELK) is required.
Experience working with critical applications focusing on performance, scalability, and security is needed.
Familiarity with microservices architecture and relational databases is essential.
Knowledge of AWS and NoSQL is desirable.
You should have experience with test-driven development and a strong understanding of version control (Git).
Strong documentation skills are required.
Upper-intermediate English proficiency is necessary, and Spanish is a plus.
