Remote Software iOS Engineer

Description:

• As a Software Engineer specializing in iOS development at Robusta Technology Group, you will be a crucial part of the mobile app development team, contributing to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of high-quality iOS applications.
• Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing robust, scalable, and maintainable iOS applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define app requirements, writing clean code in Swift, staying updated on the latest Swift language features, and implementing visually appealing UIs.
• You will work closely with designers to translate design concepts into functional UI elements, integrate iOS applications with backend services and APIs, ensure seamless data flow between the app and server, write unit tests, conduct code reviews, debug and troubleshoot issues, and optimize the application for speed and responsiveness.
• Additionally, you will use version control systems like Git, collaborate with team members, create and maintain documentation, and share knowledge to facilitate collaboration and onboarding.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as an iOS Software Engineer.
• Experience with Xcode instruments or similar tools, familiarity with GitFlow and continuous integration.
• Proficiency in code versioning tools like Git, Mercurial, or SVN.
• Basic understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.
• Proficient in Objective-C, with experience in Swift being a requirement.
• Experience with threading, cloud message APIs, and push notifications (excluding Firebase).
• Awareness of Human Interface Guidelines and experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong grasp of the English language (both writing and speaking).
• Previous experience in client interactions.
