Remote Software Test Engineer

Description:

• Join the Engineering team of a scale-up organization as a Software Test Engineer.
• The role involves predominantly remote work with some presence in London.
• Responsibilities include automated and manual testing of Canvas, React, Node.js, and PostgreSQL/Mongo stack.
• Additional tasks may involve testing infrastructure as code deployments and integrations.
• Create and execute various types of tests to ensure software quality.
• Review new software requirements and update testing scenarios.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Adapt testing techniques to a rapidly evolving product.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks, Cypress, and GitHub is required.
• Familiarity with HTML5 Canvas, REST Services testing, multiple browser testing, CI/CD, and issue tracking tools is preferred.
• Experience in Legal tech or FinTech is a bonus.

Requirements:

• Passion for automation and scripting tests.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks and Cypress.
• Experience in testing Enterprise-ready secure applications.
• Ability to conduct various types of testing including functional, acceptance, integration, load, security, and non-functional testing.
• Familiarity with GitHub for QA purposes.
• Knowledge of HTML5 Canvas, REST Services testing, multiple browser testing, CI/CD, and issue tracking tools.
• Ability to adapt testing techniques to a rapidly evolving product.
• Degree educated is preferred but not mandatory.
