Remote Software Test Engineer - NodeJS, API Testing (AU Payment Platform, Home-based)

Description:

• The Software Test Engineer will be responsible for designing test cases, performing manual and automated testing, and reporting and tracking software defects and fixes.
• They will work closely with the development team to ensure high quality and timely delivery of software.
• The role involves contributing to the development of automated testing frameworks and tools to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
• The engineer will also assist in the development of an Automated API testing framework and collaborate with Engineers to incorporate test cases into the automated testing suite.

Requirements:

• Solid experience as a Developer in NodeJS and Javascript/Typescript.
• Proficiency in E2E API Testing and a strong understanding of SDLC, agile development, and defect tracking tools like JIRA.
• Experience in software testing, test methodology, and test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, TestComplete.
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments like AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Knowledge of CI/CD using tools like GitHub Actions.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with testing enterprise-level software products and services preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
