Description:
The Software Testing Engineer will develop end-to-end testing solutions for one of Nava’s major government partners.
This role aims to create a more secure and equitable experience for the public, specifically improving the Medicare beneficiary experience.
The engineer will design and execute test plans for both manual and automated testing.
Responsibilities include analyzing, writing, and executing a testing plan into an existing platform.
The engineer will identify and report bugs, errors, and usability issues.
Providing feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality is essential.
Collaboration with development teams to discuss specifications and suggest improvements is required.
Participation in hiring activities, such as submitting referrals, conducting interviews, and attending interview debriefs, may be needed.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience with programming languages such as Java and JavaScript, and implementing an end-to-end testing solution.
Experience with a test-driven development environment is required.
Familiarity with Cypress Testing Tools and Frameworks, including JMeter and TestRail, is necessary.
Proficiency in defect management using tools like Jira, including defect logging, tracking, prioritization, and root cause analysis, is essential.
Knowledge of various testing techniques, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and usability testing, is required.
Experience with API testing for Office API and PPL AMA API is necessary.
Candidates should have skills in risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
Effective collaboration with development teams and stakeholders is required.
Strong analytical skills are essential.
Knowledge of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) systems is desired.
