Remote Software/Data Engineer in Latin America at Bounteous

Candidates must have 5+ years of product development experience in consumer software and applications.
Extensive experience with Python, Scala, Kafka, S3, and APIs is required.
Experience with cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure, particularly in data storage and processing, is necessary.
Expertise in designing and developing distributed systems and microservices architecture is essential.
Proficiency in building robust and scalable APIs is required.
A strong understanding of development patterns and SOLID / DDD principles is necessary.
A basic understanding of Kubernetes, Terraform, and Helm is considered a plus.
Exposure to big data frameworks like Hadoop, Spark, or Flink and ETL is also a nice to have.

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in work location.
Candidates must be flexible to work within time zones between CET-2 and UTC-5.
