Description:
Lagrange Labs is seeking a Solidity Engineer to join their fast-growing team in a fully remote worldwide position.
The team is building and launching a light client protocol for providing fast finality for optimistic rollups, known as the state committee.
They are also developing ZKMapReduce, a novel proof system for concurrently proving large-scale batch storage inclusion and dynamic MapReduce style computations.
The role involves developing smart contracts for the state committee and integrating ZKMapReduce with blockchains.
Responsibilities include developing, testing, and deploying Solidity smart contracts, conducting security audits, staying informed about blockchain technology, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and producing clear documentation.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have demonstrated experience in developing and deploying Solidity smart contracts.
Experience as a main architect or contributor to complex smart contracts beyond typical NFT and DeFi projects is necessary.
A deep understanding of complex data structures is essential.
Knowledge of Rust in addition to Solidity is preferred.
A profound understanding and passion for the blockchain space, including Ethereum and optimistic rollups, is required.
Experience with verifier contracts and other blockchain applications is necessary.
Familiarity with blockchain security best practices is essential.
