The Solutions Architect will consult with customers to understand their objectives and leverage technology to drive business value.
This role involves participating in all phases of the sales and implementation cycles to demonstrate how VGS solutions help customers achieve their business goals.
Responsibilities include owning all technical aspects of the sale, communicating product features, developing custom technical demos, conducting customer assessments, designing solutions, implementing proof-of-concepts, leading technical responses for RFI’s and RFP’s, and representing VGS at trade shows.

Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years of customer-facing experience as a software engineer, solutions architect, or sales engineer in a data, security, or SaaS product company is required.
Experience in web services, APIs, and full-stack development, with the ability to understand interactions between various technologies and systems is necessary.
Candidates should be comfortable writing production-ready code in VGS’s primary deployment languages: Python, JavaScript, Java, or Ruby.
Strong communication skills are essential, with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Candidates should possess strong collaboration, interpersonal, negotiation, and prioritization skills.
Technical certifications such as CISSP or AWS Solutions Architect are preferred.
Sales experience and an understanding of the payments ecosystem are also preferred.
