Remote Solution Architect, Dynamics 365 Business Central

Description:

• Long View is seeking a Dynamics 365 Business Central Solution Architect for their Data & Dynamics team.
• The role involves supporting Long View’s Business Applications and Data Modernization portfolio with assessments, solution design, and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central/Dynamics 365 solutions.
• The Solution Architect will map overall design to client requirements and systems, ensuring solutions align with business goals and processes.
• Responsibilities include participating with the implementation delivery team to develop solution proposals, providing pre-sales technical assistance, and developing estimates and Statements of Work (SOWs).
• The position requires staying updated on architectural and industry changes, particularly in Cloud and Data Analytics.
• The Solution Architect will support functional resources and business analysts with requirements gathering and provide design guidance for mid to large-sized Dynamics 365 projects.
• Best practices for agile delivery will be followed, including contributing to the creation and grooming of a program backlog of features and tasks.
• The role may involve representing Long View at vendor and industry events.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of industry experience working in finance as either a consultant or subject matter expert.
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience with Dynamics 365 Finance, Dynamics 365 Business Central, Dynamics GP, Great Plains, or Dynamics AX Finance Modules is required.
• At least 3+ years of experience with Agile Frameworks is necessary.
• Proven skills or background as a Business Analyst are essential.
• Candidates must possess the ability to effectively communicate to different audiences, including internal and external stakeholders, in various formats.
• Proficiency in workshop facilitation, including envisioning workshops and art-of-the-possible sessions, is required.
• Self-motivation and a drive for continuous improvement in skills and expertise are important.
• Post-secondary education and industry certifications such as Dynamics FastTrack, Microsoft MVP, Prosci, or Scrum are considered assets.
