Description:

Long View is seeking a Dynamics 365 Business Central Solution Architect for their Data & Dynamics team.
The role involves supporting Long View’s Business Applications and Data Modernization portfolio with assessments, solution design, and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central/Dynamics 365 solutions.
The Solution Architect will map overall design to client requirements and systems, ensuring solutions align with business goals and processes.
Responsibilities include participating with the implementation delivery team to develop solution proposals, providing pre-sales technical assistance, and developing estimates and Statements of Work (SOWs).
The position requires staying updated on architectural and industry changes, particularly in Cloud and Data Analytics.
The Solution Architect will support functional resources and business analysts with requirements gathering and provide design guidance for mid to large-sized Dynamics 365 projects.
Best practices for agile delivery will be followed, including contributing to the creation and grooming of a program backlog of features and tasks.
The role may involve representing Long View at vendor and industry events.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of industry experience working in finance as either a consultant or subject matter expert.
A minimum of 5+ years of experience with Dynamics 365 Finance, Dynamics 365 Business Central, Dynamics GP, Great Plains, or Dynamics AX Finance Modules is required.
At least 3+ years of experience with Agile Frameworks is necessary.
Proven skills or background as a Business Analyst are essential.
Candidates must possess the ability to effectively communicate to different audiences, including internal and external stakeholders, in various formats.
Proficiency in workshop facilitation, including envisioning workshops and art-of-the-possible sessions, is required.
Self-motivation and a drive for continuous improvement in skills and expertise are important.
Post-secondary education and industry certifications such as Dynamics FastTrack, Microsoft MVP, Prosci, or Scrum are considered assets.
