Remote Solution Architect- Embedded Analytics

Description:

• The Solution Architect for Embedded Analytics at Guidewire plays a crucial role in providing contextual analytics within customer workflows to enhance underwriting, claims, and capital management operations.
• This position involves becoming an expert in Embedded Analytics with Guidewire core systems and sharing this knowledge within the company.
• Responsibilities include defining success criteria for each customer and use case, coordinating with various teams within Guidewire, and managing project timelines and budgets.
• The Solution Architect must have a strong ownership mentality and a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• With 10+ years of experience in Software, IT, Security, or Financial consulting, the ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills and be familiar with Guidewire technology.
• The Solution Architect should be able to design scalable software architecture for each customer use case, considering performance, scalability, flexibility, and maintainability.
• Proficiency in programming languages, expression languages, databases, cloud services, integration frameworks, and monitoring tools is required for this role.

Requirements:

• Strong ownership mentality
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or related technical field
• 10+ years experience in Software, IT, Security, Financial consulting or equivalent pre-sales/post-sales engineering experience
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with both non-technical and technical audiences
• Familiarity with Guidewire technology: InsuranceSuite Cloud and self-managed, InsuranceNow, App Events, WebHooks, Integration Gateway, etc.
• Able to design scalable, robust software architecture for each customer use case—with technical sequence and component diagrams—balancing trade-offs between performance, scalability, flexibility and maintainability
• Proficiency in programming languages (Gosu, Java, Apache Camel, JavaScript, python), expression languages (jsonPath, jmesPath), databases (DynamoDB, Postgres, Oracle, SQL Server), cloud services (AWS, Kafka, S3, SQS), integration frameworks, ClaimCenter and PolicyCenter functionality and APIs, DataDog, and error monitoring & handling

• The salary range for this full-time position is $158,000 - $205,000+ bonus + equity + benefits.
