Description:

  • Thunder is seeking a Solution Architect specializing in Salesforce Field Service and Service Cloud to work remotely in the United States.
  • The Solution Architect will collaborate with customers' technology and business stakeholders to develop a scalable Salesforce architecture, vision, and strategy that enables best-in-class business outcomes.
  • This role serves as a liaison between the client and the Thunder team, translating client requirements into the architecture for key client needs.
  • The Solution Architect will validate the correct resources for the project, map business functional requirements to system/technical requirements, and ensure alignment of planning and solutions with the client’s business goals.
  • Responsibilities include leading Salesforce Field Service and Service Cloud solution design and implementation, providing CRM domain expertise, and leading client architecture initiatives from inception to completion.
  • The Solution Architect will partner with the Sales team during client discovery to estimate the technical level of effort for the scope of work sold.
  • The role involves owning the overall health of on+offshore project teams and championing the adoption of reusable architecture assets to improve efficiency.
  • Documentation to aid in the understanding of existing architecture solutions will also be produced, along with owning the overall execution of implementation deliverables and quality assurance.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 4-6+ years of consulting experience within the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • A minimum of 2-3+ years of solution design experience with Salesforce Field Service and Service Cloud is required.
  • The Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant Certification is mandatory.
  • The Salesforce Certified Field Service Consultant certification is highly preferred.
  • A foundational understanding of the Field Service Object Model, including Work Orders and Service Appointments, is highly preferred.
  • Field Service Industry experience as a Dispatcher, Technician, or managing a Field Service Organization is highly preferred.
  • Experience with Field Service scheduling and optimization logic/principles is preferred.
  • Significant experience across the Salesforce suite of products, including Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and/or Experience Cloud, is preferred.
  • Candidates should have experience solutioning on the Salesforce platform for a variety of clients, including enterprise-level clients.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of software, applications, and platforms, along with a working knowledge of business modeling, governance, and operations, is required.
  • Strong skills in business processes, process documentation, and process improvement are necessary.
  • Active Salesforce certifications and a willingness to achieve additional certifications on emerging technologies as required for the role are expected.
