Description:

Brinqa is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to assist in the design and implementation of their products and certify solution designs during development.
The role involves providing best practice advisory services to functional and technical streams throughout solution implementation and ongoing sustainment.
Responsibilities include solution design and review of business process and system level changes for continual service improvement.
The Senior Solution Architect will provide design perspectives to maintain consistency, stability, and supportability of solutions while aligning with the organizational roadmap.
The position requires facilitating meetings with system owners and stakeholders to gather business requirements.
The architect will develop supporting materials such as wireframes, sample dashboards, and user journey maps to facilitate requirement building.
Mentoring junior staff during the implementation phase and translating business requirements into user stories for the development team is essential.
The role includes refining documented requirements with the development team and performing stakeholder engagement and outreach activities.
The architect will develop procedures, manuals, and documentation based on gathered requirements and support testing activities during each sprint.
Collaboration with onsite and offshore developers to provide insights on business requirements and functional design is also part of the role.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or 4+ years of technical experience, specifically in security systems engineering, is required.
Candidates must have experience integrating data sources and API connectors for seamless data flow into Brinqa for risk assessment and analysis.
A solid understanding of cyber security and vulnerability management concepts is necessary.
Excellent communication skills are required to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical staff at all organizational levels.
Knowledge of architectural principles of cloud-based platforms, including SaaS, XaaS, and PaaS, is essential.
A good understanding of cybersecurity offerings in the market and the ability to discuss cybersecurity solutions and architectures comfortably is needed.
Experience with scripting languages such as Groovy, Python, and shell scripts is required.
Familiarity with software development and related technologies, including Java, REST API, and GraphQL, is necessary.
