Description:
Thunder is seeking an experienced Contractor for the role of Solution Architect - Manufacturing Cloud, specifically for Salesforce projects.
The position is fully remote and open to candidates in the United States or Canada.
The Solution Architect will act as a liaison between clients and the Thunder team, collaborating with technology and business stakeholders to develop a scalable Salesforce architecture.
Responsibilities include leading the design and implementation of Salesforce Manufacturing Cloud solutions, developing high-level architecture and detailed design documents.
The role involves participating in client meetings such as discovery workshops, requirement sessions, system demos, user acceptance testing, and end-user training.
The Solution Architect will evaluate client business processes, identify enhancement opportunities, and translate business requirements into functional specifications.
Collaboration with Thunder project members is essential to design solutions that meet business requirements and prepare project deliverables.
The position requires the development of user stories and process diagrams to support Salesforce solution design and development.
Configuration of user stories within Salesforce and other cloud-based technologies is part of the role.
The Solution Architect will document and assign technical work to offshore teams and collaborate with developers to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
Ensuring quality deliverables is a key responsibility.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 3-5+ years of consulting experience within the Salesforce Partner ecosystem.
A minimum of 2 years of hands-on configuration experience and at least 2-3 completed end-to-end implementations of Manufacturing Cloud is required.
Experience in Salesforce CPQ and/or Revenue Cloud is highly preferred.
Candidates should have experience in defining and documenting requirements and writing functional specifications.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are necessary.
Impeccable verbal and written communication skills are essential, as the company operates remotely.
Candidates should be eager to contribute to team expertise and project success.
Practical exposure to Agile methodology, including writing user stories and managing scrum calls, is required.
At least 2-3 active Salesforce certifications are required, preferably in Manufacturing Cloud, CPQ, Billing, and/or Sales and Service Cloud.
