Remote Solution Architect - Modern Work (Endpoint Management)

Description:

• The Solution Architect is responsible for leading, designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions that meet the strategic and operational needs of an organization.
• This role involves engaging with clients and stakeholders, working in cross-functional teams to understand business drivers, assess application portfolios, and design reliable, scalable, efficient, and cost-effective strategies and solutions leveraging cloud services and industry best practices.
• The architect will engage with client executive and technical stakeholders to design and build scalable, flexible, and resilient solutions.
• They will develop comprehensive solutions aligned with business objectives, considering factors such as scalability, performance, security, efficiency, and cost.
• The role includes providing expert-level client collateral including architectural drawings, design specifications, implementation guides, documentation, and operational procedures.
• The architect will lead technical teams in the development and deployment of cloud solutions, providing expert guidance and resolving complex technical challenges.
• Ensuring cloud solutions meet security and compliance standards, including data protection, encryption, access control, and regulatory requirements is essential.
• The architect will implement cost-effective strategies to maximize return-on-investment for clients.
• They will lead efforts to capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the cloud solution architect community.
• Keeping current of emerging technologies and industry trends, identifying innovative solutions, and recognizing opportunities for efficiency is required.
• The architect will lead engagement teams, delegate responsibilities, and mentor fellow consultants.
• They will work within the sales process to lead technical whiteboards, scope projects, create sales collateral, and present to C-Level executives.
• Reviewing technical documentation and sales collateral for punctual and technical correctness is part of the role.
• The architect will identify new engagement offerings, create client deliverable templates, and revise existing client deliverables as needed.
• They will identify future engagement opportunities during existing client engagements and convey those needs to account executives and practice leadership.
• Effective communication skills are necessary to interact with clients, understand their requirements, and convey technical information clearly and concisely.
• The architect will write and present statements of work and lead and coordinate implementation and migration projects, ensuring they stay on track and within scope.
• Maintaining exposure to market trends and business productivity improvement opportunities is important.
• The role requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to listen and communicate well with clients.
• The architect must demonstrate the ability to develop rapport with client technical staff and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
• Working creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment is essential.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience with Directory & Workstations, Tenant-to-Tenant, Active Directory & Group Policies Migrations is required.
• At least 5 years of experience with Microsoft Entra ID, including Multi-Factor Authentication, Conditional Access Policies, and Connect Sync (formerly Azure AD Connect) is necessary.
• Candidates must have 5 years of experience with Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity concepts.
• Functional knowledge of networking technologies including TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS is required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 cloud solutions and experience in Microsoft 365 management and administration is essential.
• Advanced automation skills, particularly in PowerShell and Microsoft Graph, are required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience with Microsoft Endpoint Management tools, including Configuration Manager, Intune, Autopilot, Application Protection, Endpoint Analytics, and Cloud PKI is necessary.
• Candidates must have 5 years of experience with Asset Intelligence & Software metering, Wake On LAN, Power Management, Internet-based client management and deployment, and Mobile Device Management.
• At least 5 years of experience with Operating System Deployment for Windows Servers and Workstations using Windows Hello, BitLocker, Windows Defender Credential Guard, and Windows Defender Application Control is required.
• The ability to design, implement, test, and deploy desktop solutions in domains such as Application Packaging and Operating System Deployment within System Center Configuration Manager, Microsoft Deployment Toolkit, and Windows Deployment Service is necessary.
• Experience with Application compatibility, Application Virtualization, and VDI is required.

• The position offers a salary range of $130,000 - $165,000 a year, with eligibility for a discretionary bonus plan based on company and individual performance.
