Description:

  • The Solution Architect will serve as a trusted voice of technical expertise in Public Cloud, Private Cloud, Power Systems, Server, Network, Security, and Automation.
  • This role involves guiding clients and the organization toward excellent technology and business outcomes.
  • The Solution Architect will work closely with Account Executives to build relationships and cultivate opportunities with new prospects and existing clients.
  • Responsibilities include identifying business concerns and technology challenges, as well as uncovering areas for optimization and improvement.
  • The position requires deep technical knowledge of LightEdge solutions and a broad understanding of the five key domains of LightEdge service offerings.
  • Solution Architects will conduct training sessions, produce training and demo materials for clients, and share knowledge within the organization.
  • They will collaborate with marketing to create marketing collateral and participate in events such as webinars and marketing videos.
  • The role also involves providing feedback to the product team to ensure the voice of the client is heard in the product process.
  • Candidates should bring unique perspectives and strengths in specific areas, particularly in Public Cloud technologies like AWS or Azure.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have experience working with hyperscale platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • A minimum of Solutions Architect – Professional Level on AWS and/or Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the AWS Migration Acceleration Program and/or Azure Migration Program is advantageous.
  • A strong background in evaluating customer environments and using AWS and Azure calculators for estimating and pricing configurations is required.
  • Additional experience with Google Cloud, Alibaba, or Oracle Cloud is helpful.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for a collaborative team environment.
  • Proven experience in a client-facing speaking role is required, preferably in pre-sales or service provider contexts.
  • Candidates must have experience solving complex cross-functional technical problems.
  • Familiarity with CRM software such as SalesForce is preferred.
