Remote Solution Architect (Remote, Contract)

Description:

• As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust, efficient, and scalable solutions for our internal platforms.
• You will work closely with stakeholders, including business analysts, developers, and project managers, to ensure that solutions are aligned with the company's strategic goals and technical standards.
• Key responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
• You will design and communicate scalable, reliable, and secure solutions that align with industry best practices and organizational standards.
• Providing technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle is essential.
• You will evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the continuous improvement of the architecture.
• Conducting architectural reviews and audits to ensure compliance with established guidelines and best practices is part of the role.
• Participation in the development of IT strategies, technology, and project roadmaps is expected.
• You will ensure solutions are designed for performance, security, scalability, and high availability.
• Assisting in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues as they arise is required.
• Identifying and communicating risks early in the design and development stages, and developing effective risk mitigation strategies is crucial.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. A master's degree is a plus.
• You must have 3+ years of experience as a Solution Architect or in a similar role in a complex enterprise environment.
• A strong understanding of software development methodologies and practices, including Agile and DevOps, is necessary.
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms is required, with prior experience in AWS being a plus.
• Proficiency in a variety of programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, .NET, Python) is essential, with prior experience in PHP being a plus.
• Experience with database design and management (SQL, NoSQL) is required.
• Proficiency in documenting and visualizing system designs using various tools and approaches is necessary.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically are essential.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, SEI, SAFE, or similar are highly desirable.
• Strong English knowledge (Upper Intermediate +) is required.
