The role of Solution Architect focuses on delivering advanced Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) solutions within a Google Cloud environment for a leading Automotive OEM.
Responsibilities include designing next-generation observability architecture, leading migration from legacy platforms, and implementing improvements in Google Cloud.
The position involves client engagement, technical leadership, and hands-on implementation, with a mix of billable client work and strategic internal contributions.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with clients to enhance observability platforms, contributing to migration strategies, leading implementation of enhancements, providing technical leadership, and serving as a trusted advisor to clients.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 7+ years of professional experience in software development, cloud architecture, or DevOps and site reliability engineering.
A minimum of 3 years of programming experience in languages such as Python, Go, or Java is required.
At least 4 years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is necessary, focusing on large-scale, cloud-native architectures.
Proven expertise in Site Reliability Engineering and experience with observability solutions and monitoring tools like Dynatrace is essential.
Experience in leading platform migration initiatives from legacy to modern observability solutions is required.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform is necessary.
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to engage directly with clients to provide tailored cloud solutions.
The highest level of English proficiency and excellent communication skills are required.
