Remote Solution Developer Engineer

Description:

• The Solution Developer Engineer position at SMG involves integrating services and configuring features crucial to the business.
• Responsibilities include writing T-SQL statements for reading, writing, and updating the MS SQL database.
• The role also entails creating and maintaining SSIS and SSRS packages.
• Communication with internal customers regarding project requirements and technical specifications is a key aspect of the job.
• The position requires articulating process improvements, troubleshooting internal process issues, and providing information, analysis, and recommendations to support team efforts.
• Other duties include creating and maintaining documentation, communicating with clients about their needs, giving demonstrations, producing design proposals and budgets, and developing programs or products.
• The role also involves using C# to develop new functionalities within existing codebases.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent education and work experience.
• 2+ years of experience in developing and maintaining applications.
• Technical knowledge of current hardware, operating systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical customers.
• Experience with T-SQL, SSIS, and SSRS.
• Proficiency in C# and Visual Studio.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
• Excellent knowledge of English.
